AutoPilot Set up Process On Campus

There will be no need for Admin rights to do this installation.

Make sure that you do not restart the computer during the setup.

If you do, then the computer will need to be reset.

  1. Plug in the computer.
  2. Connect it to the network via ethernet.
    1. This can be done wirelessly as well.
    2. You will need to connect to Wi-Fi.
  3. Power on the Computer.

Don’t disconnect from the network for at least 4 hours.

The computer will restart. 

Once the restart happens, the Welcome to Arapahoe Community college setup will start.

  1. Enter your Arapahoe email.
  2. Click Next.

 

 

  1. Enter your myACC password.
  2. Click Next.

 

Important! If you do not have MFA set up, you will skip the verification step. Skip to Step 11.

  1. Have a verification code sent to your phone.

Or if you have Authenticator App on your phone you can get in that way.

Or you can verify with email. (Directions included in the link above)

  1. Enter the code.
  2. Click Next.
  3. The device will start setting up.

This will be a 20-30 minute process to set up.

12. Device preparation – 1-3 minutes.

13. Device setup – 10-15 minutes.

The computer will need to continue to be connected to the network.

Do not disconnect from the network.

Now, you will be able to log in.

Preparing Windows after Login – 3 minutes

Make sure that your Windows is Windows Enterprise when finished.

Make sure to log into Outlook.

Make sure to log into OneDrive.

Downloading apps to your new device.
